Ken Wright FCPA, MCom, BCom, JP
Partner

Ken has been a practicing accountant since 1977 and has experience in both the large corporate environment and boutique practice. Ken joined the Meagher, Howard & Wright as a partner in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Master of Commerce degree both from the University of NSW. He was appointed a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants in 1998.

Ken played for the Australian Wallabies from 1975-1978, and first grade rugby league for Easts and Souths. He was President of the Rugby League Players Association in 1982-1983. From 1999-2000 Ken was President of the Australian Barbarians Rugby Club and has been Treasurer of the Classic Wallabies since 1992. Ken was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000.

Greg has been a partner in Meagher, Howard & Wright since 2005 and hold a Practising Certificate with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Greg has extensive knowledge of all general business practices, specialises in the audit of Not for Profit entities and the audit of Self-Managed Super Funds.

MaryJane Hardy BBus, JP
Senior Accountant

MaryJane Hardy joined Meagher, Howard & Wright in 2007 and acquired a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Accounting in 1992. Before joining the firm MaryJane worked for the Australian Taxation Office for 21 years and was a senior auditor for the last 12 years. After leaving the tax office, she completed her 2 years of public practice before obtaining her tax agent registration. MaryJane brings to the firm a vast knowledge of taxation law and an insider view of a tax office audit.

John Howard OAM, FCPA, BEc, JP
Founder, Consulting Accountant

John has been a practicing accountant since 1967. In 1984 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to the community. In 1990 John was appointed Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.

Always having a love of the game, John has been involved in Rugby Union administration since 1958. He was a board member for the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) for 23 years, during which time he was Treasurer for 17. He was made a life member of the ARU in 1988.
